Recently, I’ve been reflecting on some of the reasons I wrote my new book Secrets to a Successful Startup: A Recession-Proof Guide to Starting, Surviving & Thriving in Your Own VentureAvailable here on Amazon, Barns & Nobel, and Indie Bound. One for writing my new book reason is this…There’s never been a better time to start a business from home and become rapidly financially independent. For many people — particularly those (often women) who’ve put their dreams aside to raise a family — these are exciting times. The challenge is having the self-confidence to start… and that’s another reason why I wrote Secrets to a Successful Startup.
Technology has changed so much in the last 20 years that it can be overwhelming to contemplate starting an adventure. However… in all meaningful studies that look into what makes people successful in ventures, discipline and self-confidence were found to be more important than intelligence for achieving things. The good news is that self-confidence is something that can be built in stages if the startup starts up right. So this was another reason behind my writing…I wanted to provide a practical step-by-step guide so that the early stage experiences build that self confidence.CheersTrev
