I think everybody who is into self-help and personal development needs to hear about the law of attraction and why the way it’s taught is wrong, and that there’s a better way. What gives me the credibility to talk about this? I grew up poor. My mother was diagnosed with cancer and given six months to live when I was seven. My father was unemployed and unemployable all of my life until I left home and joined the Royal Navy. At about age 18, I had a successful career. A stable job as a high flyer, as they call it, or a fast tracker. And then, when I turned 40, I decided to start my own company. And I’ve since built six companies, and I’ve sold three for a combined enterprise value of over 300 million. That’s a success story, but I did it in a balanced way. I’ve always worked from home. I’ve never worked more than five hours a day. I was happily married for 40 years when I met my way from age 20. And unfortunately, she died last December, but I had 40 incredible years, for which I’m incredibly grateful. So, I know how to live a successful life with balance, but here’s what’s interesting. I’ve never followed the law of attraction. Does that make me unusual?Well, actually, no, because according to statistics, over a hundred people have bought books like think and grow rich by Napoleon Hill and The Secret by Rhonda Byrne, which probably means about 200 million people have followed the advice in the books and in the videos that accompany the books. And yet, in the world today, the whole world, there are only 2,755 billionaires. Surely if the message from the law of attraction, which is basically like attracts, like, which is fundamentally wrong, I’ll go into that in a minute. But like attracts, like, and then all you have to do is think positive thoughts, and riches will come your way. Surely there would be more than 2,755 billionaires in the world that went over 200 million. People have probably taken this advice. It doesn’t add up, and it’s never sat well with me. I’ve taken my advice from biographies of successful people and followed their behavior patterns. And that’s what I advise in this video…Watch the full video above.Cheers,Trev
